Music has always played a big part Rob's life and his musical training started when he obtained a scholarship to study at the prestigious Purcell School, which was followed by a further four years training at the Royal College of Music.

For several years Rob worked as a professional French Horn player, enjoying an exciting and diverse career with many of the country's leading orchestras and ensembles.

He  subsequently attained a diploma in composition for TV and Film, (Dip. Los Angeles Film Institute), and now devotes his time to writing music for television, film and various media.

He is comfortable in a wide range of musical styles, whilst most enjoying writing in lush and expansive orchestral textures, and aspiring to write music that has strong emotional impact and connects with the soul.

Rob believes there's nothing quite like working with, or listening to live musicians and loves to get real players involved in projects wherever budget allows.
He has
plenty of experience in the recording studio both behind and in front of the baton!
